What a treat to have gone through the exhibition site of
Visualizing Trans to have found on departing rather than upon arriving the brilliant creative economy of Hot Spot. After experiencing all of the varied and inventive installations in the the “Space of Trans,” this low tech, high impact creation captured the essence of Visualizing Trans at its most fundamental. Who among us hasn’t used ourselves or imagined using this most basic of transmitting devises. How evocative in it’s simplicity of all that is Trans. Bravo Megan Katz and Jenny San Martin for this extraordinary minimalist coup!

Phil Sayers and Esther Sayers Phil Sayers teaches Fine Art at Staffordshire University UK and is a transvestite artist specializing in feminine masquerade from historical sources. Esther Sayers is a key member of the Education Team at Tate Modern, London.
Robert Ladislas Derr is Assistant Professor of Photography at The Ohio State University.
Ryan Burghard recently finished his MFA at the UW-Madison.
Ryan Griffis is Assistant Professor of New Media at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Sally Grizzell Larson is a Philadelphia based photographer, filmmaker, and script-writer.
